Two Peas In A Pod Farm, as the name implies, is operated by two like minded individuals with a love of all things green, feathered and furred. Nestled in the Piedmont of North Carolina on just twelve acres, we enjoy the challenge of discovering just how much we can do with this small plot of creation that has been entrusted to us. We like to build; we like to work; we like healthy food, healthy, happy creatures and healthy land. We are blessed that our work, play and passion are neatly contained in one small bundle just outside our back door. We are not going to change the world but we are going to do our part to bring peace, joy and care to our small corner of it.

If diversity is the spice of life, we're smokin' hot. We have a lot of irons in the fire, modest aspirations and a willingness to see where our endeavors lead us. Currently our lineup includes:

Honeybees, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Barbados Black Belly Sheep, Cotswold Sheep, Sebastopol Geese, Royal Palm Turkeys, D'Uccle Chickens, Heritage Breed Pork Crosses (Meishan + Berkshire = Black Beauty), Crevecoeur Chickens, Appenzeller Spitzhauben Chickens and many sunflower/pollinator beds.

Watching over all are three livestock guardian dogs (two Anatolian Shepherds, Boaz, Jael, and one Great Pyrenees, Zeke) and a cantankerous guard Llama name Bandaras.

Our most recent adventure is the addition of a wonderful Jersey cow in milk named Reba.

We thank you for visiting our site.  We hope you find it interesting.  Hang with us on our journey!
